There is SO MUCH GOLD in Hustle Hut, I can't even. This is only a small excerpt of what I read this afternoon. I chose the following because I found the advice to be exceptional.
I have so much respect for the stripper hustle. They are amazing women.
Please feel free to add your own favorites.

REMEMBER NAMES/DETAILS
When someone is a good tipper/private customer, commit his real name to memory. When he shows up in your room again, give him a warm welcome and ask how he is doing by remembering a details he shared with you. Some cam sites let you take notes on members/customers.
TRY NOT TO LOOK BORED ON CAM EVEN WHEN IT IS SLOW
It turns people off from you. At least try to be doing something to look somewhat busy in the eyes eg. watch comedy, create a playlist, draw up a grocery shopping list, anything to keep your eyes from glazing over. If you are having trouble tuning into the present moment put the camera on different part of your body so you don’t have to show your eyes.
KEEP UP SOME CONVERSATION, EVEN IF YOU’RE BY YOURSELF
If there is traffic in your room, but no one is talking, just pretend someone is conversing with you from another site. For all they know you could be splitcamming. Mention your tip menu, vids you sell, your social media, (if the site lets you), talk about your day, tell a story, jokes, talk about your cat.
BE SOMEWHAT POSITIVE MOST OF THE TIME
For most doms this won’t apply however, being smiley and cheerful, does help immensely with being approachable.Constantly complaining about it being slow, being annoyed, getting frustrated and worst of all, putting down other models etc. doesn’t help at all with getting tips and privates. Unless your persona is the spoiled, bratty, selfish, sociopathic bitch, most of the time customers are attracted to models who seem busy, in demand and desirable. Depending on your persona, expressing anger, frustration and annoyance on cam is for the most part detrimental. It usually helps to step away if your emotions are getting the better of you.
STAY SOMEWHAT SOBER
Some token site models like to have guys tip for drinks with the intention of getting you drunk so you do crazy stuff on cam. It is up to your discretion whether or not you think you can handle this kind of show. For the most part, it’s probably safer to dilute your alcohol so you remain somewhat sober and not stinking drunk. Passing out and puking on cam can get you banned from the majority of cam sites. Plus getting really drunk ruins your hustle and game therefore making you earn less.
GET OTHER MEMBERS/CUSTOMERS TO VOUCH FOR YOUR SHOWS
Get others in the room who have had shows/privates with you to boast about your prowess to the others in the room.
APPEAR AND/OR BE GENUINE AND HONEST
It really helps to appear honest and genuine in your speech and mannerism, guys lap it up. It’s also easier to execute this personality trait to entice a guy into a private or to get them to tip to play a game, or contribute to your show.
ABC and EOTP- Always Be Closing and Eyes On The Prize
Your conversation doesn’t have to revolve around shows, tipping and privates, but know how you can bring it back to ask for what you want. if you keep your eyes on the prize, you won’t falter. Perfect example: "Really? well my favorite place that I visited so far was Copenhagen, Denmark." (Let this sentence sink in, smile. count to three. "OK, enough of this talk.. let's go private/play!"
PLAY UP YOUR FUCK ME EYES, LIPS, BOOBS
When you talk to a customer, look at the lens of your camera and bring attention to your boobs! i will "unconsciously" touch my boobs while i talk sometimes to "fix" them in the outfit. You WANT the customer to sexualize and objectify you. That's what he's there for, so make him do it.
HAVE A ROUTINE BEFORE WORK
If you make a coffee, do that each time you go to work. The routine will get you into camgirl mode. If you develop a routine, you will rarely have to "pep" yourself up during work, because the pepping will have done itself for you.
CONFIDENCE IS KEY
When talking myself up, sometimes i will say stuff like, "well you deserve a show from the hottest girl/best girl here! and i'm totally ready for you!" who cares if you actually are not the hottest girl or best there! your attitude is key and that attitude is very attractive.
*accepting NO as an answer is sometimes the best way to go. but whatever you do, never ever ask, "why not?" it will waste more of your time and is not conducive to turning that NO into a YES.
*pamper YOURSELF on your off days: manicure, pedicure, massage, shopping trip.. whatever floats your boat. puts you in a good place mentally and it comes thru.
*talk sex. bring it up in conversation
GOOD CLOSING LINES
"let's go have some fun"
"mmm, maybe later.."
"ok, maybe you’ll be back to drag me away for some naked time!" (wink smile coyly whatever cute facial expression you can do)
and when he returns,
"Oh you’re back, now I’m going to have to force you to have a naked girl on top of you, oh the horror!"
or
He comes back a 2nd time, you then say, ok, when you come back, we're going to have fun. make SURE he says yeah we will.
On his return, "let's do it! you told me you would come back, you did, you follow directions well. (wink coy smile whatever) now let's get you naked!"
"Let's get the money out of the way so we can really have fun!" (This is for tip based, indie sites).
"I hate talking money, let's just get that out of the way so we can have fun!/so I can get naked already!" (For tip based/indie sites).
"We're going to have so much fun tonight. Let’s get this started!"
"I'm glad I found you. You’re making my night. Let’s play."
DON’T WORRY ABOUT THE COMPETITION
i dont think i've ever been compared to another girl. see, i think the word competition is bad. at work, you aren't competing against any other girls. why? because you ARE the best. it doesn't really matter if you don't do her "best" move, because your "best" is way better. it's more sensual, sexy AND hot. In my experience, guys see hot girl, with pretty face and nice smile and they give money for dances. period. they dont ask, "well, can YOU do THAT?" and if they do ask that, then they are 100% not going to spend big $$$.
PEP TALK YOURSELF
Bring up your confidence by giving yourself a pep talk before work in the mirror. "I am the hottest bitch on this site. I WILL take their money, and THEY WONT say no to me. How can they? I'm the hottest woman in here." Mantra. Make it work for you. When you then hit the floor, you will KNOW in your aura that you're the hottest there and that you need to be popping the question often. And remember, the one thing you need to know above all else: If they say no, it's NOT a reflection on you. It's a reflection on your pitch and on their mood.
Mantra: It's their loss. And instead of walking away with nothing, ask for a tip... "Aww, are you SURE you don't want me naked on top of you? Oh well. But I'm sure you'd like to grace my boobies with some money! (hold out shirt expectedly)".

I consider myself a top earner. At any club that I have worked at, people are amazed at the amounts of money I get out of men. My approach to dancing is a very business oriented. I am at work. My time and my self worth is of utmost importance, as it is for anyone that I am entertaining when, they, themselves are at work. Certain industries do not offer pro bono, we work in one that does not.
We do not have a flashing blue light above our heads or attached to our thongs. If a man wants you to "sit" with him for an extended period of time he should pay you what you would make for that period of time.
Men come to us for escape from reality and they respect our professionalism. They also respect girls that respect themselves. It truly saddens me to see girls that feel that they need to be sexually exploited for next to nothing just to have a man get "his money's worth" and girls that don't believe that they're worth thousands of dollars. I am not judging anyone. I have friends that are escorts and strippers that do extras, but IF girls that do those things didn't do it for the same cost as girls that don't, it wouldn't bring down everyone else's market value. It would make EVERYONE'S money go up! We have complete control over men at work. They came to see us for a reason. But they also know that there are many girls that will allow, time consumption for free and sexual deviance at the customer's preferred pricing. It isn't about hustle, it’s about fair exchange. These men are in YOUR office and they know it. Stipulate to what you want and make it fair to everyone.

WE are the ones who have the upper hand. The guys like to think they do, but THEY are the ones who come to see US. THEY are the ones who have to pay for attention from the opposite sex, not us. They like to try and make us think they have the upper hand (saying it's "their wallets"), but the reality is that THEY HAVE TO PAY FOR OUR ATTENTION, and the price is only a matter of negotiation.
And while most girls are NOT going to find a whale every night, we can all earn more every night by simply knowing we're worth it. Guys will always have to pay. Always.
There is quote when i feel unmotivated to cam - when i know, it will be long and painful day . "Dislike how failure smells? You dont deserve the taste of success." Yep.Lets go on cam.

Here are some thing that DO translate from stripping:
Wear bright colors. I am terrible at wearing black all the time, I know, but I make sure that my ROOM is super bright - colorful quilt on the couch, yellow walls, etc. Try to make it look bright, colorful and exciting.
Act like you are incredibly happy to be there. Guys usually want a bit of a party girl, or at least a fun one that will make them happy! Unless you are doing domme work, and need to be projecting the bitch vibe, BE HAPPY. When guys ask how you are, answer with "fantastic" "amazing" "awesome" etc, not "good/fine/ok".
Use "when" not "if". It is a subtle hint in the mind, but it works. WHEN you see my show, WHEN we go pvt, etc. You can extend it by saying "I can't wait till we are in the show" "OMG we are going to have so much fun in our show.
Continuing that premise - ASSUME THE SALE. Assume that everyone is going to buy a show at some point. Don't let yourself show any hesitation, or "maybe he won't want me" or anything like that. Assume that their money is yours, you will have shows with all of them, they all want it, you will hit your gold show goal.
Be a little arrogant. There is nothing wrong with saying "I am the best/just wait till you see what I can do/I am going to blow your mind". I would never suggest directly comparing yourself to another model - it makes you seem like a bitchy girl, not a fun, sexy camgirl. But ABSOLUTELY project the idea that you are awesome.
Be interested in them, and excited by them. When someone asks if you do c2c, don't say "yeah" or "exclusive only". Would YOU want to show your naked body to someone who seems a little bored by the idea? Get ExCITED by it "OMG I LOVE C2C!" "Mmmm...yeah, I love to watch" "Oooh, can I see it!" etc etc. Make them want to show you, because they think that they are going to get a great reaction and you really want to see it.
Be interested in their personality too. Everyone wants those hour long exclusive sessions where you just chat about stuff. So - make it seem like you are interested in them. This one is hard for me - I find the online thing difficult, and feel a little weird starting a show by saying "so what's your name" - but whenever I do, I get longer shows and better, more regular clients. ASK THEM - so what is your name? Oh I'm so glad we can get to know each other better.
Ask for what you want. At the end of a show, ask for a rating, a comment, an extra tip. You don't have to beg or plead or demand, just mention it. Drop the idea in his head. SM prompts to ask if they want to send gold "as a thank you" which is awesome - so capitalize on it. When you are done a show, and they say "that was awesome" you can always say "I'm so glad you had fun, don't forget, you can always say thank you with gold!". What is the worst that can happen? They don't tip. Well, if you don't say it, they ain't gonna tip anyway.
Slow. Down. When I was a dancer, I always reminded myself to go "slow as molasses dripping". It is slightly hypnotic, but also - guys don't NOTICE most of the time. Then you get a longer pvt, and they are happier at the end. Don't just drop your knickers and ram it in - show off your body, peel off your clothes, work your way up to it.
On a related note - don't jump the gun! WAIT until they ask you to do something (like get out a toy, take off panties, play with yourself). Maybe they don't WANT a dildo, maybe they want to spend more time looking at your ass. THEY will be happier if you wait for them to ask - not only do you have a better chance of giving them what they want, but it feels more personal, and less like you are just going through the standard motions.
Don't be afraid to play guys off each other. Tease them! Make them feel good (better than the others) when they tip! When someone tips you, say "wooo! Thanks so-and-so, showing these other guys how it is done! You are awesome!"
I'll probably think of more....
Incantatious
I don't know what I can add, aside from this: There are exceptions to every rule.
Show me a "camgirl rule" and I'll show you a top earner who breaks it.
Every otherwise seemingly vital trait you could think of for what we do, there are ways to bend them to further carve out your originality to make better money. This is because you are making yourself more of a personality - something to remember - and less of a "box ticker".
There are still top performers who insult their guests.. There are top performers who ignore their guests.. Who make money because of their differences that may not fit in what what you might think of when you get a picture in your mind of a top camgirl. In fact for almost every "vital" thing you could think of, I can think of a top performer breaking it and still making bank. Likewise, for every "vital" thing you could think of, I can think of a performer doing it and not getting as many privates as others.. Because there are a lot of us following the same exact pattern, the same exact set of rules...
It truly seems to be a matter of personalizing above all else. It still stands that what works for one may not work for another regardless of convention or it's tried-and-tested results based on other performers.
I think it's because it's almost the point now, where the "rules" for camgirls are so very set ~ "do this, do that, do this, do that. You should never do this; you should always do that".. - "thank you bb, yes I do anal bb, thank you, hey how are you? hey sweetie I'm great thank you and you?" that we could seem like emotionless bots that have programmed themselves to follow suit instead of really putting some thought into what we want our work to consist of, by really fleshing out their own ideas for what would make a kick-ass cam persona or performance.
To some extent, following the rule-set of any performer other than yourself, can risk you burning out a lot quicker and easier because you aren't necessarily working as you wish to work. We're all in the same business - the world of webcam - but each performer runs her work so differently to the point that the only attributes they have in common is owning a webcam, a computer and an internet connection.
For example, you can find yourself wanting to yawn your face off so bad during shifts because you are boring yourself because you can't break this seemingly relentless cycle of "hey bb yes I have toys..", "hey bb I'm sooooo horny". It is because you aren't working the way that feels most natural to you, you are just ticking boxes doing all the things you think should be done.
As long as you make your mark on them in some way, they'll probably come back for more..
Re: Hustle Hut Cam Style
Written by tlulu
So I've only been camming for three months, and though I am not a vetaran in the industry, I am doing well for myself while keeping to the standards of not giving anything away for nothing or pennies. Just to be clear, never have I done a cum show in free chat, nor have I undercharged for flashes or naked dancing. These are my golden rules when I cam on MFC free chat: - Be a good host/hostess Say hello to people who say hi in your chat, be nice. It's common courtesy. Ask them how they are, how their day is going. You don't need anymore than that. Like any conversations, avoid politics and religion LOL. Don't ignore them if they say hi and don't tip at first, you never know who's a potential long-term customer. Sometimes they need to "get to know you" a little bit before spending. As tedious as that may seem, I have had men sit in my room and say nothing, but they listened to me talk to other regulars, and then tipped me for a pleasant personality. At least on MFC, a lot of guys will come back for the atmosphere of your room, so be sure to be accommodating and pay extra attention to those who pay, but don't ignore everyone else who is talking. However, DO ignore dumb comments. Do not get flustered over the idiotic things that they say, there's no need to make yourself feel bad. I usually limit my banning to SUPER rude guys who won't leave the room, otherwise, I smile and tell them that they can go elsewhere if they're not happy. - Don't beg for tokens. Just like the guys who beg for freebies, it is not sexy. Entice them to tip you. I always say things like "it's always nice when you guys help out" "I always appreciate your contributions towards my show, thank you guys." Don't complain about having no one tipping, it doesn't always work. If you aren't making anything, don't leave saying that you're logging off because no one is paying, just say that you're going to log off now. Presentation is important, you don't want to appear as the moody model who only thinks about money. We're like salespeople, selling a fantasy to lonely men. - No chatting on SW while working Even when I first started, when my room was slow (10-20 people), I never let myself be distracted by anything else. This means, I turn off my phone, facebook and SW. This is still a job. - Smile! Unless you're doing a particular fetish that requires you to look mean, smiling is a good way to make custies feel comfortable to talk to you. Smile like they do in those friggin' commercials! - Always say thank you for any tips Don't take anything for granted. But of course, don't do anything for a tip if they didn't pay enough, but ALWAYS say thank you. - Come up with new things regularly Whether it's a new game, a show, or a different outfit, switch things up a little! Guys always like to have something different every now and then. - Stick to your comfort zone Never do what you're not comfortable with. If they try to pressure you, be polite and tell that you don't do that. Usually if you're nice about it, they will retract politely. If not, you can always ignore them or ban them. - Have fun! Even if it's still a job, if you have fun, your customers will have fun too and are likely to come back.
